Adulting 101

Hosted by Harvard FCU’s Community Engagement Team with Sophia Young, Student Advisory Committee Representative.
This workshop will cover key financial aspects of entering the “real world,” including the importance of building credit, what to know about full-time employment, and how to set yourself up for success when living independently.

Building Credit from Scratch

Whether you are new to credit or looking to rebuild after time away, this session will explain why credit history matters and how it can impact renting an apartment, job opportunities, and insurance rates—along with practical steps to build positive credit.

Investing 101

Presented by Shahar Ziv, Harvard FCU Board Member, and Dennis Sexton, Investment Services Advisor.
This workshop will introduce the foundational concepts of investing, including the differences between mutual funds and index funds and the role of robo-advisors.
