Please Note: Varsity Life Accounts must be open in one of our branch locations, if your teen is not present with you, please bring a form of identification for your teen along with the signed membership application.
1. Harvard FCU requires a minor to have a joint account owner (residing at the same address) who will be jointly liable for any returned item, overdraft or unpaid charges and or fees. When account minor turns 18 he or she will be notified and have a choice of any Harvard FCU checking options, if no checking account is chosen by their 19th birthday, the account will automatically become a Crimson Essentials account. A link may be established to the Share Savings Account or a Joint Owner’s Checking or Share Savings Account enabling pre-authorized overdraft protection. We may pay funds directly to the minor without regard to his or her minority.
