A Bed For Every Child
Harvard FCU is proud to support local children through our continued partnership with A Bed for Every Child, a program of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless that provides safe and comfortable beds to kids who need them.
On September 9th, Harvard FCU volunteers gathered at Harvard’s Science and Engineering Complex to build twin beds for children across the state. We brought the tools, the energy, and the heart—and we got to work.
In total, 10 beds were built on-site and will be delivered to children in need across Massachusetts. Each bed includes a frame, mattress, and bedding—all provided free of charge to families. Harvard FCU fully funded the build and mobilized over 20 employee volunteers to get it done. This is our second year partnering with A Bed for Every Child, and the first time the volunteer event was hosted on Harvard’s campus.
We’re proud to support local families and help give every child the comfort and dignity of their own bed. Harvard FCU is committed to building stronger communities, one project at a time.
