New Branch in Longwood Medical Area
After much anticipation, the new Harvard FCU branch in the Longwood Medical Area (LMA) has opened its doors at 435 Brookline Avenue in Boston (at the corner of Joslin Place). The new street-level location is replacing the previous branch located inside the T. H. Chan Harvard School of Public Health, which was closed during the COVID pandemic.
“It’s an exciting new beginning for this area,” said Carline Olivier-Guerrier, Branch Manager of the LMA branch. “I’m thrilled to lead this team of professionals and I look forward to once again serving the LMA community.” Mrs. Olivier-Guerrier presided over the branch opening festivities along with Harvard FCU President & CEO, Craig Leonard, members of the Harvard FCU Board, staff, and members.
To celebrate the opening of the new branch location, visitors were gifted prizes, entered raffles, and took turns spinning a wheel of prizes. Harvard FCU also presented Boston Children’s Hospital with a $10,000 donation.
“For us, this is a great opportunity to reconnect with former members and meet new members,” stated Olivier-Guerrier. “We have really missed having a presence here. It’s time to return, plant seeds, and reconnect because we’ve missed the LMA community tremendously.”
The branch hours will be Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit the branch to hear about special CD rates and other exciting offers!
