Local Organizations Receive over $100,000 from Harvard FCU
Many local residents enjoyed a brighter holiday season thanks to an additional $100,000 in donations to community organizations made this December by Harvard Federal Credit Union. The $100,000 of additional charitable contributions was approved by Harvard FCU’s board based on the Credit Union’s strong financial performance in 2021.
Harvard FCU is proud to add an additional $100,000 to this year’s charitable budget, and has donated to the following organizations:
- Cambridge Family & Children’s Service (CFCS)
- Food For Free
- Greater Boston Food Bank
- Green Cambridge
- Massachusetts Homeless Coalition
- Phillips Brooks House Association (PBHA)
- Somerville Cambridge Elder Services
- Somerville Homeless Coalition
- Tutoring Plus
“I am thrilled that we are in a position to make these additional donations and support the important work of these phenomenal organizations. As a not-for-profit cooperative, we believe that our financial success should directly benefit our members and the communities we serve.” Craig Leonard, Harvard FCU President & CEO
