Harvard FCU Runs B.A.A. 10K!
On Sunday, June 25th, Harvard Federal Credit Union (Harvard FCU) staff successfully completed the B.A.A. 10K. It’s one of the most eagerly awaited road races in the Boston area. Athletes from 49 states and 102 countries formed an energized community of runners who were committed to helping the renowned Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH).
The B.A.A. 10K offered participants a picturesque route with breathtaking views of Boston Common and the Public Garden, starting and ending on Charles Street. Competitors set out on the arduous 6.2-mile course, the energy was high as they demonstrated their tenacity and unwavering support for BWH’s lifesaving mission.
“This was my first time running a 10k with Harvard FCU. It felt great to challenge myself while also knowing that the run was raising funds for Brigham and Women’s Hospital” said Terrence Bazile, Community Engagement Specialist, “it was a win-win-win all around, which makes this race very rewarding,” added Bazile.
The B.A.A. 10K raised more than $200,000 which will make a tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals in need of critical medical care.
