Did you receive an Abandoned Property Notice from Harvard FCU?
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts General Laws relating to Abandoned Property requires that deposit accounts, which have been inactive for three or more years (unless you have another active deposit or loan with us), shall be turned over to the State Treasurer.
Pursuant to the applicable General Laws, notice is hereby given that the deposit account(s) listed above will be turned over to the State Treasurer on or before November 1st, 2025 and thereupon this institution shall cease to be liable.
To avoid this inconvenience and the temporary loss of your funds, please perform a transaction on your account, complete this electronic form, or contact us in writing by Friday October 17th, 2025.
Completing this form will change your Harvard FCU account to an active status to maintain your relationship with the Credit Union.
Please note: You only need to contact Harvard Federal Credit Union once and all of your accounts will be activated. Your transaction or written response must be processed by Friday October 17th, 2025, to avoid the transfer of your funds to the State Treasurer. Any accounts that are transferred to the State Treasurer will incur a $50.00 processing fee per account prior to the transfer.
